The end result: the ornaments are surprisingly evenly distributed

And then I decorated this one by myself while the kids were napping

After the fun time spent outdoors, I had the kids trim the tree. We have one in our front room that is not very kid-friendly, so we always also put up a "kid tree" in our family room. The little tree is full of unbreakable decorations, many of which the kids made themselves, and we let them do whatever they want with that tree. It is fun to have all of our Christmas decorations up and we are so excited about this wonderful holiday season.
