A Party for Siena

Last Thursday and Friday Siena got sick...

So we postponed the birthday festivities and had a little party for her on Sunday after church.

It was so fun to have her Miller cousins in town to celebrate it with us

Grandpa helped her open her gifts

She's a pretty cute little two-year-old!

Happy Birthday, Siena!

Our little Siena turned 2 today. We started her special day by going out for breakfast as a family.

And then I took her to get her two-year-old pictures taken.  I think she looks pretty darn cute.

It's hard to believe our littlest one is 2 years old already.  She is such a joy and we certainly can't imagine our family without her.  Some of our favorite things about her are:

-She has a sense of humor well beyond her years, and she is always trying to tell jokes and play tricks on people (usually her siblings).
-She is utterly and completely a Daddy's Girl.
-She loves, loves, loves music, singing, and dancing.
-She is so pleasant and super friendly and loves to talk to anyone who will make eye contact with her.
-She's a tomboy (climbing and having light saber fights with her brother) and a girly-girl (dressing up like a princess and being a mommy to all of her dolls) all rolled into one.

We sure love our little girl!

Weekend with the Cousins- Monday

The Talmage family had to head to the airport on Monday afternoon, but we were determined to get in as much fun as we could before they left. We spent the morning at the Discovery Gateway, and the kids had a fabulous time.

The weekend went by too quickly, but we had such a great time!

Weekend with the Cousins- Sunday

On Sunday, after church the kids had a picnic/tea party outside for lunch.

Then we lounged around and the kids played before dinner

Uncle Kory read the kids some books before bedtime (they went to bed at a decent hour on this night!)

Weekend with the Cousins- Saturday

We had a busy and fun-filled Saturday. The Talmages wanted to visit some friends down in Provo, so we went with them.

We went on campus and got some Jamba Juice

We walked around campus and checked out all of the new buildings

We went bowling at the Wilkinson Center

Had some lunch at Kneaders

And played at a nearby park

It was a gorgeous day and it was fun to spend so much of it outdoors!

Weekend with the Cousins- Friday

Brighton, Chelsea and Siena were so excited to have their Talmage cousins visiting all the way from Japan. They arrived Friday evening, and we had a hard time getting them to go to bed because they were so busy playing together.

Happy Easter!

We had beautiful weather, wonderful church meetings, a lovely dinner with family and friends, and an egg hunt in the backyard. Can't really ask for more on Easter Sunday.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter, too!

Egg Hunt

We had our annual neighborhood Easter egg hunt this morning. The weather wasn't very cooperative so we moved it into our church building.  The kids had a great time.

Easter Pictures

I'll admit, I'm not a big fan of the Target Portrait Studio. Their backgrounds are boring, they always use the same poses, and I think the color is a little off.  But Target is super inexpensive, and until I feel like I can take formal pictures of my three wiggly kids by myself without tearing my hair out (or until my sister moves back out here!), it will have to do.  But I sure love these cute kids, and I love their Easter outfits.
