Gingerbread House

I put on the "glue" as Brighton placed the candies

Chelsea did more eating than decorating

But it was fun to do it together The end result!

Last year Brighton and I had so much fun decorating a gingerbread house at Christmas time, so we decided to do it again this year. Chelsea was now old enough to join us, too. I was in charge of the frosting, Brighton was in charge of placing the candies, and Chelsea... well, she was mostly in charge of the eating. It was fun to see how much Brighton has grown since last year-- he was more careful about using different colors and patterns, whereas last year he pretty much just put whatever he wanted wherever he chose. I think it turned out very cute and colorful! It was a fun Sunday afternoon activity.
