Our Pioneer Day Festivities

We've had a fun couple of days celebrating Pioneer Day. We started on Thursday evening by watching the Bountiful Parade.  It was the first time the kids actually watched a parade instead of being in it, and I think they really enjoyed being on the recipient side of all that candy!

After it got dark we found a grassy spot near Grandma and Grandpa Allen's house and watched the Bountiful fireworks.  It was a pretty spectacular show.

The next morning we headed over to the carnival at the park, and the kids enjoyed some fun rides, games and treats.

That night we went to a very exciting Real game, and enjoyed the fireworks afterwards.

What a great weekend, and it wasn't even Saturday yet!  I just love these long holiday weekends...
