Yesterday we had to clear out our family room for a little home improvement project and so Brighton took advantage of the clutter-free room to practice his best Obi-wan Kenobi impressions. He told me that he wishes the room was always spacious like that, so I said I would be happy to give away all of their toys, which really takes up most of the room. He didn't really go for that idea, but he had fun running around while it was empty anyway.

Love the new carpet! How nice to be able to get new carpet, but only have to get it for one room. We would LOVE new carpet in our family room, because it is so trashed, but it runs into the hall, living room, dining room, up the stairs, and all through the upstairs. So we can't really just replace one room, and to replace the whole house, or even just the main floor and stairs. . . well, I can dream, right?

Actually, that's our old carpet before the new carpet was installed. It may be hard to tell with the lighting but it is completely trashed.
