Chelsea Writes Her Name

Chelsea came running to me saying "Mommy, I drew a ghost for you!". That was new to her repertoire of little drawings, but what surprised me more was what was underneath it:

It was the first time she had attempted to write her name on anything... I didn't even know she could do it!  You've got to love her "E"s.

Proof that she's doing more than just playing and eating snacks in preschool.

Darling ghost! And you are right, I do love the way she wrote the "e". So cute. Can't wait to see you guys in a few short weeks!

That is really amazing! I'm super impressed. And those E's are just embellished:) She's so cute. I miss her.

It is rewarding to see the proof! I remember when Seth wouldn't talk. We were so worried. Now we can't get him to stop and he surprizes me by pointing out all of the letters of the alphabet ~ everywhere we go! So Cute!!!

Are you saving all of their drawings and artwork? I have been scanning our favorites but don't know what to do with the originals...

Maggie writes her E's exactly the same way! Love that.

Hey, my kids asked if they could go trick-or-treating with the Allens and I said I'd check and see what your plans are. I usually stay home and do the candy thing and James takes them, so what are you planning on doing? After all, we do need the entire Wizard of Oz cast, so we'll share our scarecrow if you'll share your lion.:) Anyway, let us know.
