Justin left this morning to go on a week-long business trip. With Siena so close to walking, last night he was saying how sad it is that he will probably miss her first steps because it will likely happen while he is gone. It was as if Siena understood what he was saying because she really took it to heart-- when we got home from dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's last night she started walking! And it wasn't just three or four steps... she started walking around the play room like she knew how to do it all along. It was hard to get a good picture of her because she was really cruising!
I guess she didn't want her dad to miss out. She truly is her Daddy's little girl.

Oh my gosh that is too cool! I'm so sad I'M missing out! I miss you guys! You'll have to take video of her if you can and show me sometime!
Good job, Siena. Such a cutie. Lisa, good luck this week. I'm glad you won't have my kids at all while Justin is gone! I hope it all goes well. We'll see you this weekend.
What an exciting milestone! She is such a cutie. I hope she doesn't get too banged up while she's perfecting her new found skill.
Do you feel sad that this baby is walking like she is a teenager already!!! I miss babies and if they never grew up I wouldn't stop having them! Siena is getting so big. Each step a child takes in the learning process is just a little bit closer to becoming us and that makes us a little step closer to becoming our parents... So SLOW DOWN!!!
