Since becoming an avid blogger in July of 2007, this has been by far the longest I have gone without blogging. We had so much going on at the beginning of the summer that I became a little overwhelmed with chronicling it all and I put it on the back burner for a while... well, with school starting back up in a couple of weeks I know if I didn't catch up now I probably never will. So my goal this weekend is to get caught up-- we'll see how far I get.
The end of June and early July were a very busy time for us. We had two weeks of a house full of visitors. Since Justin and I both had our entire families in town over the holiday weekend, we had London blessed in church on the 4th of July:
London was a good baby for her Dad, and Justin gave a beautiful and meaningful blessing
We had dinner at our house afterwards and everyone contributed to the fabulous feast
The day before that was the annual Centerville Parade, and London and I opted to be spectators this year. The kids as usual had a fabulous time throwing candy and wooing the crowd:
Swimming at the Rec Center
Fun at Discovery Gateway
Obaachan getting a lot of quality London-time

It was fun to meet cousin Norah for the first time, I know she and London are going to be best buds!
Swimming at the neighborhood pool
Grown-up game night after the kids were in bed
Maybe this will have to become an annual summer tradition.

nice to know you guys are still alive over there ;) Don't worry, I still haven't posted about our trip to Utah ... I'll get there, though. Love you! Good luck catching up on the rest of your Summer!
wow what a fun and busy time. It was fun to see your kids in the parade.
Hurray!!!! You are blogging again. I have missed your posts. Thank goodness we are right here to watch the kids grow and play, but it is great to see all the fun events highlighted. It has been a good summer, hasn't it!
