A Fabulous Mother's Day Gift

I know, Mother's Day is tomorrow, but I got these in the mail today and I couldn't wait to show them off. This is one of my most favorite mother's day gifts, from one of my favorite mothers in the world-- my cute sister, Lillian. She always gives such thoughtful and meaningful gifts, and is so kind to share her talents with me.  It's amazing how a blacked-out silhouette can capture my children so perfectly.  My photographs really don't do them justice, but aren't they fantastic?

Brighton

Chelsea

Siena

And they are already hanging in my stairway for all to see

these are stunning! i have been looking everywhere for a service that does something like this - i have a life long love of sihlouettes, they are just so classic. i love how she framed them with the beautiful paper.

ok, so does she hire her services out?!

You are too nice to me. YOU'RE the thoughtful one! I really think that any ounce of niceness I have, I learned from you. I don't want this to be like a brag fest or anything, but really, you are the best sister in the world. And the best mom. I'm 100% convinced of that!

I'm glad you like the silhouettes. I like how they turned out, too. I thought the gold damask in the background would look nice in your gorgeous home. And by the way, your kids are so super cute. It was almost making me emotional when I was working on them. Love you so much!

What a treasure, Lisa. What a thoughtful gift from Lillian. They look so nice on your stairs, also.
