We have had a super-duper busy week, so I will be playing catch-up for a few days...
Monday was Justin's birthday. Brighton made another one of his adorable hand-made cards:
But the best part was what he had put INSIDE the card. He secretly took one of these from our check book and filled it out. I guess he remembered the checks that always comes in his birthday cards from his great-grandparents:

Celebrating Justin's birthday gave me a chance to reflect on just a few of the many, many things I appreciate about him.When one of the kids wakes up in the middle of the night, he has ALWAYS been the one to get up and comfort them, get them cleaned up, or get them a drink.
He has never, ever gone a day without telling me how beautiful I am, and he does the same for his two little girls.
If he knows I've had a busy day he calls me on the way home from work and asks me what I want him to pick up for dinner.
He is always the first to say he is sorry, even with the kids.
He is the best husband and the most amazing dad! We sure love him.
