After a morning of light-saber fights and dress-up,
We picked Uncle Matt up at the airport and headed to the Denver Zoo
It is a really great zoo with many, many wonderful exhibits. It beats our sad little Hogle Zoo by a landslide!

This is my absolute favorite picture from the day. This gorilla was just hanging out in front of the glass and Chelsea was so taken by him, she sat right next to him for the longest time. It was amazing to see the two of them side-by-side, stealing glances at each other once in a while.
The kids were worn out by the end of the outing. We ended the day by having dinner at a fun place called the Elephant Bar Restaurant (in keeping with our animal theme for the day). They had great food and a really fun atmosphere.
Since Brighton was staying at the Millers with Bennett, we had Ellery come and stay at the hotel with us that night. It was fun for the girls to have their own little slumber party. Another fantastic day.
